Connect Claude to your Sellerfy account.
Connect Claude to your Sellerfy account and get answers about your returns, reimbursement claims, inventory and profit in plain English, from the data Sellerfy already syncs from Amazon. Setup takes about two minutes, and Claude never sees your password. New to the connector? See what it can do.
Connect ClaudeWhat you can ask
Claude reads your live Sellerfy data, so you can ask the questions you'd otherwise answer by opening reports.
Connect in about two minutes
You'll need a Sellerfy account and a Claude or Codex account. During the beta your Sellerfy account must be enabled for Claude. Ask us to turn it on.
claude.ai and the Claude desktop app
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Sellerfy and paste this URL:
https://mcp.sellerfy.io - Click Connect. A Sellerfy page opens: sign in with your Sellerfy email and password (or passkey).
- Check that it says Claude is connecting, then click Allow. You're sent back to Claude.
- Start a new chat and ask a question. Claude uses Sellerfy when it's relevant.
See Anthropic's help center for which Claude plans include custom connectors. On Team and Enterprise plans an admin may need to add the connector first.
In your terminal
- Add Sellerfy as an MCP server:
claude mcp add --transport http sellerfy https://mcp.sellerfy.io - Start Claude Code and type /mcp, select sellerfy and choose Authenticate.
- Your browser opens the Sellerfy sign-in page. Sign in and click Allow.
- Back in the terminal you'll see Connected to sellerfy. Ask away.
Codex CLI and app
- Add Sellerfy as an MCP server:
codex mcp add sellerfy --url https://mcp.sellerfy.io/ - Your browser opens the Sellerfy sign-in page. Sign in and click Allow. (If it doesn't open, run codex mcp login sellerfy.)
- Run codex mcp list: Sellerfy shows as enabled with OAuth. Ask away.
Other AI apps. Sellerfy's connector uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) with secure sign-in. It works with Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code) and OpenAI Codex. Other assistants that support remote MCP servers with browser sign-in may also work.
What Claude can access
Only your own Sellerfy account, and only through these actions. Claude can't reach billing, team members, account settings or your Amazon credentials.
| Reads | What Claude sees |
|---|---|
| Returns & claims | Returned units, their status, and reimbursement claims with case IDs |
| Recovery worklist | What to file now, pending, in progress, recovered and expired, with amounts and days left to Amazon's deadline |
| Reimbursements & clawbacks | Any Amazon reimbursement by ID or SKU, with its claim window, and reversals linked to the payment they took back |
| Recovery cases | Reimbursement discrepancies Sellerfy found, and their filing status |
| Inventory & costs | FBA inventory per SKU and the unit costs you've entered |
| Inventory ledger | Amazon's ledger for a SKU: receipts, shipments, misplaced and found units, returns and removals |
| Profit & transactions | Profit and loss, fees and Amazon financial transactions for a date range |
| RMA pipeline | Units in testing and resale, and how long each has been there |
| FBA reconciliation & account health | Shipped vs received discrepancies and your Amazon connection status |
| Changes | Always asks you first |
|---|---|
| Record a claim | Records in Sellerfy a claim you've already opened in Seller Central for a returned unit (needs the Amazon case ID), so it's tracked to paid. It doesn't file anything with Amazon. |
| Update a claim | Marks a claim in progress, submitted, approved or denied |
| Set a unit cost | Updates the cost of a SKU, which feeds your profit numbers |
| Withdraw a claim | Permanently deletes a claim and its evidence photos. Only when you ask for it by name. |
Every change is marked as one that needs your approval, and Sellerfy tells Claude to act only on what you ask, never on instructions that appear inside your data, such as a product title or a note. Review what Claude proposes before you approve it.
Security & privacy
Your password stays with Sellerfy
You sign in on Sellerfy's own page. Claude receives a limited-access key, never your password.
Only your account
The connection is locked to the Sellerfy account you signed in with. It can't see other sellers' data or your Amazon login.
Stays connected up to 30 days
After 30 days, or if you disconnect, Claude has to be approved again. Keys are stored encrypted or hashed and checked on every request.
Every change is recorded
Each claim or cost change Claude makes is logged with who made it and when, and unusual activity alerts our team.
What you ask your AI assistant, and what it reads from Sellerfy to answer, is handled by its provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for Codex) under your account's terms with them. See our Privacy Policy for how Sellerfy handles your data.
Disconnect
claude.ai & desktop
Settings → Connectors, choose Sellerfy, then Disconnect or Remove.
Claude Code
Type /mcp, select sellerfy and choose Clear authentication. To remove it entirely run:
claude mcp remove sellerfyOpenAI Codex
Sign out with codex mcp logout sellerfy. To remove it entirely run:
codex mcp remove sellerfyDeleting your Sellerfy account also ends every Claude connection.
Troubleshooting
It says my account isn't enabled for the Sellerfy MCP beta.
During the beta, Claude access is turned on per account. Email us from your account's email address and we'll enable it.
The Sellerfy page says the connection link expired.
Sign-in links last 10 minutes and only work in the browser Claude opened. Start again from Claude (Connect, or /mcp → Authenticate) and finish in the same browser window.
I signed in with the wrong Sellerfy account.
Disconnect (see above), then connect again. On the Sellerfy page, sign out first if it signs you in automatically.
Claude says Sellerfy is unavailable or asks me to reconnect.
Connections end after 30 days or when you disconnect. Reconnect and approve again. If it keeps happening, email support@sellerfy.io with the time it happened.
Claude's numbers don't match my dashboard.
Claude reads the same data as your dashboard. Check the date range Claude used (it defaults to the last 90 days) and whether Amazon data finished syncing. If it still differs, send us the question and the answer.
